How It Works

In order to use the CabFiles system you will have to register which is done in easy steps. This will take information of your company and the number of drivers on file. The system will then also work out the monthly cost of subscription.

Once registered, operators will be able to set up their own database containing all drivers and vehicles documentation together with any other management item such as escorts or statutory documentation. The data will live on the CabOperator web based servers and can be accessed via the internet.

Once the database is in place, scanned documents can be uploaded for each driver, vehicle, escort or any statutory logged requirement with a reference and expiry date. From then on the system will take over the checking of expiry dates and send out reminders and warnings on any missing or pending document renewals. Importantly this system works alongside and outside the Proprietary Software systems, and in order to keep up to date, all that needs to be done is simply scanning and uploading new documents.

A Step-by-Step description of using the system

1. Register Company

Initially, you must Register your company with the system, and choose Admin Login details.

2. Add a Person, such as a Driver or Escort

After registration, you can add Persons - generally Drivers or Escorts and the documents related to them.

3. Add an Asset, such as a Vehicle

Assets, generally Vehicles, and their associated documents can also be added, and a relationship defined between the Asset and a Person.

4. User Login

When a user logs in, a status page will inform them of documents due to expire as well as required documents that have not been uploaded. At the end of each month, the system will calculate a fee based upon the number of Persons and Assets entered, which will then be automatically deducted from the Company credit card.
